Blindspot Quick Check: where is your business vulnerable?

Answer 10–15 short 'What happens if …' questions and get immediate results: traffic-light status, a risk profile by category and concrete first steps for your most critical points. The Quick Check is the simplified online version — Stage 1 of the risk analysis goes much deeper.

Why a Blindspot Quick Check?

Most businesses don't fail because of the risks they know — they fail because of the ones they never looked at. The Blindspot Quick Check makes these blind spots visible: it examines 15 of the more than 100 hazard areas from our 3-level hazard catalog, spread across People, Technology and Operations.

Each question describes a concrete scenario. You rate how critical it would be for you — and whether you have already prepared measures. The result is your personal risk profile with a traffic-light status per question.

CORE IDEA

How the risk analysis works — and what the Quick Check takes from it

The Beraterium method uses a structured hazard catalog: for each relevant field we clarify the guiding question, damage scenario, possible damage in euros, likelihood and inventory — what you already have to mitigate the risk. The result is not a collection of isolated topics, but a comparable risk portfolio with clear priorities.

The Blindspot Quick Check uses the same logic in a strongly simplified form: concrete 'What happens if …' scenarios, your assessment of criticality and whether preparation exists. It shows direction and blind spots — Stages 1 and 2 of the risk analysis deepen and prioritise systematically across the full catalog. More on the method: Beraterium method.

What the Quick Check does — and what it doesn't

The Blindspot Quick Check is a quick test, not a full risk analysis. It looks at selected, particularly common blind spots. An unremarkable result does not mean the remaining hazard areas hold no risks. If you want certainty, take the next step: Stage 1 of the risk analysis examines all relevant fields of the hazard catalog — including prioritisation; Stage 2 delivers the action plan.

Frequently asked questions about the Blindspot Quick Check

What is the Blindspot Quick Check?

The Blindspot Quick Check is a free online self-assessment by Beraterium. In 10 to 15 questions you check where your business is vulnerable — around key people, technology and day-to-day operations. You get your results immediately, no sign-up required.

What is the difference from Stage 1 of the risk analysis?

The Quick Check on this page is a simplified self-assessment: 15 selected hazard areas, traffic-light rating, no conversation. Stage 1 of the risk analysis is a moderated process with an industry-specific questionnaire, damage scenarios in euros, likelihood, inventory and a prioritised risk portfolio — typically in a joint session.

How long does the Blindspot Quick Check take?

About 10 minutes. Depending on your audience choice you answer 10 to 15 short 'What happens if …' questions and see your results right afterwards.

Is the Blindspot Quick Check free?

Yes, the check is completely free and can be used without registration. Optionally, you can have the results sent to you as a PDF report by email.

Does the Quick Check replace a full risk analysis?

No. The Quick Check covers a selection from more than 100 hazard areas of our 3-level hazard catalog. A good result does not mean all risks are ruled out — that is what Beraterium's Stage 1 and Stage 2 risk analysis is for.

Who is the Blindspot Quick Check for?

For solo self-employed professionals, founders and startups, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The questions adapt to your choice: solo self-employed answer 10 questions, founders and SMEs 15 each.
